 POSITION SUMMARY

Roman Catholic High School is currently seeking an energetic and highly disciplined individual to fill the Assistant Director of Admissions and Communications position. Reporting to the Director of Admissions and Communications, this position will have a role in implementing Roman’s enrollment management and marketing initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties:

  • Under the direction of the Director of Admissions and Communications, actively identify, attract, and recruit prospective students who demonstrate strong academic potential, leadership qualities, and a commitment to the school’s values.
  • Engage prospective students and their families while fostering relationships with partner schools and community organizations. Implement strategic outreach to ensure the successful enrollment of both freshman and transfer students.
  • Contribute to building a dynamic and diverse student body that enhances the overall school community.
  • Assist with shadow students, private tours, events, and other functions as needed.
  • Create and post content on various Roman social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Assume other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions and Communications.

 QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training and Experience/Skills) Required:

  • Strong verbal, written, customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to relate well to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with students, parents/families, administrators, faculty, and staff in person, via email, and on the phone.
  • Possess versatility, initiative, leadership, enthusiasm, and a sense of humor.
  • Poised and engaging with intellectual depth, maturity, judgement, and professionalism to earn the confidence and trust of both colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Google Suite (G-Mail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.).
  • Possess an understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud and be able to make minor edits to flyers, videos, and other assigned tasks. Skilled in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of, and commitment to, the mission of Roman Catholic High School.

 Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours (if applicable):

  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • This position requires some local and regional travel for admissions fairs and grade school recruitment visits.
  • Must be able to have a flexible work schedule, including early hours and evening hours. Some events may require work hours on weekends for events.

 SALARY

This is a 10-month, full-time position with benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience.
