Position Summary
The Marketing & Digital Media Specialist will report directly to the Director of Marketing. The successful
candidate will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns, driving brand awareness, and supporting
the overall marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a creative and analytical mindset, strong
communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist the Director of Marketing with coordinating a wide variety of communications initiatives
designed to enhance the organization’s visibility in the community, ensuring consistent
messaging and branding
• Develop and execute a social media growth strategy, maintain a social media content calendar,
and compile comprehensive digital media reports
• Engage with followers on social media, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a
timely and professional manner
• Create engaging multimedia content that showcases student life, school events, achievements, and
academic programs
• Assist with all aspects of the organization’s digital presence on all channels
• Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
• Create engaging and relevant content for marketing materials, including social media updates,
email newsletters, and website content
• Work collaboratively with other internal departments to successfully plan and execute various
campaigns, projects, and events
• Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (print,
social media, e-mail, digital ads, etc.)
• Track and analyze digital communications and website performance using analytics tools,
providing reports on visitor engagement, traffic, and other key metric to continuously improve
content strategy
• Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape
future marketing strategies
• Write and edit for digital platforms, including blog posts, social media, email newsletters, and
web content
• Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned
Skills
• Strong knowledge of website management tools.
• Proficiency in email marketing platforms.
• Experience with social media platforms and tools (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and
social media management tools like Hootsuite or Buffer).
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and Google Analytics.
• Basic graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) and video editing experience is a
plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent
experience).
• 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or a similar role (preferably in an
educational setting).
This is a full-time, 12-month position that requires evening and weekend work.
