Position Summary:
Lansdale Catholic High School is seeking an Executive Assistant to work in the Main Entrance and Attendance Office, assist the Student Services Office, and perform additional administrative functions assigned by the President and Principal.
Duties and Responsibilities: (Essential Duties)
● Greet visitors and callers, handle inquiries, and direct visitors and callers to the appropriate persons according to their needs.
● Oversee daily student attendance, call/late slips, and send daily attendance lists to faculty and staff.
● Coordinate communications and School Messenger system between school and parents.
● Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
● Complete forms and correspondence in accordance with high school procedures.
● Assist with daily copying and printing responsibilities.
● Assist with mailings and distribution of daily mail.
● Prepare agendas for meetings, attend meetings, keep records, prepare drafts and minutes for administrative review and take and transcribe minutes of meetings.
● Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material.
● Assist in ordering and dispensing supplies.
● Operate office equipment such as copiers, phone systems, and use computer for spreadsheets, word processing, database management and other applications.
● Manage special projects as assigned.
Qualifications: (Required)
● High School Diploma
● At least (6) months of clerical or general office support experience or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Skills:
● Must be attentive to details
● Ability to manage several projects
● Ability to work autonomously without extensive oversight or direction
● Ability to work independently
● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Executive Assistant is a 12 month position.
