Cardinal O’Hara High School is seeking a mature, driven, and reliable professional to join our Technology team. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a passion for technology. Reporting to the Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs, this position works closely with the Technology Specialist and services our students, staff, and faculty.

Responsibilities

● Set-up and maintain technology systems including, but not limited to, computer workstations, laptops, Chromebooks, printers, LCD projectors and interactive whiteboards

● Troubleshoot, repair and replace damaged device components including the ability to remove and reinstall all major computer systems such as screens, keyboards, batteries and motherboards.

● Help support the local school technicians to complete tasks as assigned and provide coverage during the time when the technology specialist is unavailable.

● Help maintain an accurate inventory of each school’s technology equipment using central system inventory solutions and provide ongoing inventory and various usage reports for school and district

administration

● Deploy and maintain student devices in the asset management system

● Assist with the inspection, verification and tagging of technology purchases upon receipt

● Install and maintain various software products while maintaining all licensing agreements

● Process work orders as needed through the school helpdesk ticketing system

● Ensure that service incidents are recorded in central system Help Desk solution

● Handle additional duties as needed

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is preferred.

● Previous IT helpdesk or computer repair experience is highly preferred.

● Strong organizational and time management skills.

This is a full-time 12-month position.
