Position Overview: Lansdale Catholic High School, a dynamic and faith-driven educational community rooted in the traditions of the Roman Catholic Church, seeks a visionary and mission-aligned Director of Alumni Engagement and Philanthropy. This senior-level position is responsible for strengthening relationships with alumni, families, and friends of the school while cultivating a culture of philanthropy that advances the school's mission and strategic goals.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic relationship-builder with demonstrated success in donor engagement, portfolio management, and strategic outreach. Key Responsibilities

Alumni Engagement & Outreach

  • Lead the design and execution of a comprehensive alumni engagement strategy that fosters lifelong connections between alumni and Lansdale Catholic High School.
  • Plan, manage, and evaluate alumni events including networking opportunities, milestone celebrations, and regional gatherings.
  • Collaborate with school leadership to integrate alumni into the life of the school through volunteer opportunities, career mentoring, and spiritual engagement.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to the Alumni Association, supporting its initiatives and leveraging its network for engagement and fundraising activities.
  • Manage alumni communications, including newsletters, social media, digital campaigns, and feature stories.

Philanthropy & Fundraising

  • Manage a portfolio of leadership-level donors and prospects with the capacity to make significant contributions in support of school priorities, including EITC.
  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors through personalized engagement strategies that align with their philanthropic interests and the school's mission.
  • In partnership with the President and Advancement Team, develop and implement strategic fundraising plans to grow annual, capital, and planned giving.
  • Create and implement moves management strategies, ensuring effective cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors within your portfolio.
  • Support and advise the President, Alumni Association and Advancement Committee in prospect strategy and donor engagement efforts.

Program Leadership & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the advancement team on the design and implementation of fundraising appeals and giving programs including Giving Day, reunion giving, and alumni campaigns.
  • Track and report on key metrics related to alumni engagement and fundraising efforts; maintain accurate and timely records in the school’s donor database.
  • Represent Lansdale Catholic High School at internal and external functions and serve as an ambassador of the school's mission and values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in alumni relations, fundraising, advancement, or related fields, preferably in a Catholic or independent school, university, or nonprofit organization.
  • Demonstrated success managing a portfolio of prospects, cultivating relationships, and securing leadership-level gifts.
  • Knowledge of the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with alumni, donors, and stakeholders of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic faith and the mission of Catholic education.
  • Proficiency in Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM, Microsoft Office, and digital engagement tools.

  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and donor engagement.
