Position Summary

Archdiocesan high schools use a tuition management service provided by an outside vendor to invoice and collect tuition and fees from a parent. The Tuition Officer’s role at the high school is to ensure that families are properly billed tuition and fees; and, to ensure that payments are made in a timely manner. The Tuition Officer is a resource to parents with questions about tuition, fees, grants and scholarships.  The Tuition Officer reports to the School President and to the Tuition Manager in Educational Financial Services.

 The Admissions Assistant role will be responsible for the planning and assisting the Admissions Director in support of enrollment efforts.  This includes web-site management, social media efforts and communication with families and prospective students.

 The ideal candidate will be dynamic and energetic with a demonstrated ability to work with little oversight/direction while handling and maintaining confidential information and exercising discretion in handling related office and school matters always. This role requires a high degree of initiative, professionalism, organization, and stellar communication skills working within a Catholic environment where Catholic values define the words and actions of all.

 Responsibilities:

 TUITION:

  • Ensure that all students are in the Tuition Management System; and, they have
  • Ensure that enrollment in the Tuition Management System reconciles with
  • Assist the school’s President and financial aid committee in awarding need based
  • Respond to parent questions regarding tuition
  • Follow up regularly with families who are behind in payment of tuition in an effort
  • Interact with School President and other school personnel regarding tuition and
  • Prepare all necessary reports required during the month and annual audit of tuition records.

 ENROLLMENT:

 Under the direction of the Director of Enrollment, establish short and long-range goals and objectives to implement an enrollment and marketing plan to ensure those goals and objectives are achieved.  This includes but is not limited to:

  • Coordinate with Admissions Director all admissions events including open houses, school visits, school tours, awards night, scholarship exams, and shadow visits
  • Perform data entry with admissions database (SchoolAdmin) and tracking of applications
  • Manage the Admissions page of the school website
  • Design marketing materials and coordinate the distribution of said materials
  • Be a resource to the Wood families who need assistance with the enrollment process
  • Work closely with the Admissions Director and Financial Aid Committee regarding the
  • Create and manage content for the school website to ensure that all information on the
  • website is current and accurate for all disciplines
  • Occasional night and weekend work will be necessary

 Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Education, Communications, and/or another discipline is required.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, be self-motivated and possess strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be Proficient with Excel software
    • 3 – 5 years accounting/bookkeeping/customer service experience
    • Prior experience with Accounts Receivable management, a plus
  • Strong management and data analysis skills and the ability to work effectively with faculty, administration, and support staff members
  • Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Canva and Constant Contact

 This is a Full time 12-month position.
